Hey geeks and nerds. During the last two weeks, we've been reviewing half of the new t.v. shows for fall 2014 and the season premiers of old shows. Here's our take on them.
NEW SHOWS Two Hoof Approvals for these new shows: We love How To Get Away With Murder. Viola Davis is marvelous. Scorpion is fun, fun, fun. We'll keep watching. Forever is fun too, we love mysteries. Madam Secretary is very good. We're intrigued with Gotham, but hope it becomes more interesting. We would like to see more interaction between the young Bruce Wayne and the future Chief Gordon. We like Stalker. We're hooked on Maggie Q. The Flash is another fun one and it fits right in with Arrow. "Just okay" new shows: The Mysteries of Laura. Debra Messing is good, but we would like less of the comedy element and more of the mystery. Less of the twins and get rid of the husband too. Red Band Society is another "just okay" show. Its all about the kids. We want more of Octavia Spencer. She's excellent, but not enough of her. We would have preferred to see her in something like a Murder She Wrote type show. Though not getting great ratings, we kinda like Bad Judge. We'll see how it plays out. NCIS New Orleans is another "just okay"show. Its doesn't come close to its predecessors. Black-ish is not that funny. Forgettable New Shows-Just Not Interested: Selfie, Manhattan Love Story, Mulaney, A To Z, and the reality show, Utopia. We're just not that impressed with the new comedies. OLD SHOWS -SEASON PREMIERS: Two Hoof Approvals foe Season Premiers of Old Shows: Love, love love The Good Wife. NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, The Blacklist, Scandal are still good. Still intrigued by Homeland, and of course, The Walking Dead. We also like Hawaii Five-O, Criminal Minds, Sleepy Hollow, The Big Bang Theory, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Castle, and About A Boy. We also love Person of Interest and American Horror Story Freak Show. This season's AHS is really creepy. We're still checking out the new season. We'll be back soon with more reviews.
