Comic-con 2017 has had some not so user friendly changes that were a bit odd. Such as moving all of the bags, books and lanyards distribution to the Sails Pavillion making it a jam packed pedestrian catastrophe.
However, there were highlights including the star studded Battlestar Galactica panel in hall 20. The event was filled with insider knowledge about the acting process for show veterans such as: Mary McDonnell, Aaron Douglas, Michael Trucco, Tricia Helfer, Grace Park, Tahmoh Penikett. Also details were given into the future projections of the new Battlestar Galactica from the show's creator Ron Moore and Glen A. Larson. Both dropped hints that the series would reflect our real world political climate as well as other relevant social issues. The end of the event concluded with a special message from Edward James Olmos greeting Convention goers as well as paying tribute to fallen Battlestar Galactica alumni, Richard Hatch.
