Greetings geeks and nerds. We had a great time in San Diego at Comic Con. Legions of fans, cosplayers, and comic book fanatics were out in groves. Lots of heat and crowds packed Hall H for the big name movie stars. The other meeting rooms boasted favorite broadcast and cable t.v. series panels, and the Exhibit Hall was packed to the brim. The Gaslamp Quarter was crowded as usual. Autograph lines were long and souvenir seekers waited just as long to purchase their favorite action hero, toy, comic book, piece of art and so-on and to collect all types of swag. For the second straight year, we were not able to get anything from Funko. This year lottery tickets for Funko purchases were issued online before the Con, but we still missed out. But gotta say, the online system is better than waiting in line during the Con. Superheroes, T.V. stars, film clips of upcoming blockbusters were abound: Aquaman and Jason Momoa, the first female Dr. Who, Jodie Whittaker, The Walking Dead panel, Fear of the Walking Dead, Halloween star, Jamie Lee Curtis, Johnny Depp, Nicole Kidman, John Cena, Ryan Reynolds, panels for Supergirl, Arrow, The Gifted, The Flash, DCs' Legends of Tomorrow, Vikings, and a panel for Hulu's Stephen Kings horror series, Castle Rock. There were also panels for Wonder Woman 1984, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and Amazon's Jack Ryan. The Good Place Panel, Charmed, Magnum P.I., Star Trek Discovery, Black Lightning, The Simpsons, American Dad and Family Guy panels and many, many more were represented. And don't forget the Walking Dead Zone with lots of zombies around in Petco Park and the Shark Week exhibit. Two Hoof Approvals for San Diego's Comic Con International 2018.
